Delco Defends

The annual Delco Defends series acts as a deep dive into areas of common legal practice. Each year, PDAP organizes multiple training sessions on a specialized topic that remains relevant to all Public Defenders (attorneys, investigators, and social service advocates). These sessions take place in person at the Delaware County Government Center, but also offer a virtual attendance option.

The 2025 Delco Defends programming focuses on defending drug cases. Topics include: 

• What are Controlled Substances
• What is Possession
• Defending Against the CI
• Drug Delivery Resulting in Death
