Foundations of Public Defense
This two and a half day in-person conference is a comprehensive introduction to “life as a Public Defender,” covering the foundational skills, values, and team-based practices that make up holistic client representation. It will include plenaries relevant for all in the roles listed and track breakout sessions specific to each role, with an emphasis on hands-on activities so attendees can practice skills to take back to their work.
