Community Justice Project - Reading
CJP engages in class action litigation, administrative law, legislative advocacy, and other forms of impact litigation to help create positive change for low-income residents across Pennsylvania. Eastern PA Trans Equity Project Rapid Response Crisis Grants
Provides rapid monetary assistance to transgender people and the parents of trans children. Includes rent assistance, utility payments, car repair, bus passes, transgender affirming medication, and food assistance. All payments are made directly to the vendor. Eligibility: -Transgender people and parents of transgender children -Residents of Berks, Bucks, Chester, Columbia, Delaware, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lehigh, Luzerne, Montgomery, Northampton, Pike, and Wayne counties
