ACCR/PDAP Capital Case Series: Trauma Informed Advocacy

This session is a skill building workshop for working with traumatized clients. Through her presentation, Dana Cook hopes to cover understanding the trauma-informed approach to building client alliances, identifying and understanding the signs and symptoms of trauma, building the toolkit for working with trauma-impacted clients, strategies for minimizing re-traumatization and the importance of self-care.
