Race & Effective Advocacy: Communicating with Clients and Families

PDAP’s three-part Race and Effective Advocacy series is intended for anyone who wants to learn about the role race plays in client advocacy and how to best fight for clients of color.

This session will focus on culturally responsive communication strategies and ways to navigate difficult conversations with clients and their families. Stay tuned for information about future sessions on Telling the Client’s Racial Story and Language, Framing & Client Advocacy, as well as our Racial Justice Conference coming this September.
