Appellate Academy

PDAP’s 2025 Appellate Academy IV will offer plenaries on topics like Act 44, PCRA’s, Case Reviews and Federal Preservation. We will hear from national counsel, the Innocence Project, and appellate attorneys from across the state, as well as Superior Court Judges. People who attend in person will have the opportunity to participate in workshops with our faculty. You will also be able to choose which workshop you wish to attend.

PDAP will cover hotel costs for any Public Defender to attend, and breakfast and lunch are included with the program. CLE credits are also free for Public Defenders. For conflict counsel, the cost to attend in person is $150 which includes CLE credits, breakfast and lunch, but does not include hotel stay. If you wish to attend online, the cost is $50.
