This is a halfway house for men looking for a stable recovery program during their transition from inpatient treatment to independent living. They have contracts with almost every county Drug and Alcohol office in the Commonwealth but for two or three as well as all of the Managed Care organizations in the Commonwealth (Magellan, CBH, PerformCare, Carelon, CCBH). They take Medicaid and also some commercial insurances (AETNA, UPMC, Geisinger and TRICARE). Their treatment includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy / Motivational Enhancement Therapy, evidence based treatment approach rooted in 12-step recovery model; workforce Development to gain independence and work experience; money Management to learn how to budget finances; Life Skills curriculum to build upon strengths for long-term recovery; home-like recovery environment utilizing a three-phase treatment program; and peer supports both in and out of the program. They also run a Military & Veterans Program, designed to support the needs of all military service members and veterans through additional mental health supports, additional life skills components to support transitioning to independent or family living, and case management to assist with care coordination.
