Resources for Human Development (RHD) CORE

CORE, located in Homestead, PA, just outside Pittsburgh, is a 3.5 high-intensity residential community reintegration and recovery program for adult males with mental health and substance use disorders. It serves individuals reentering society post-adjudication or those seeking the support of a long-term program after detoxification. CORE offers, in collaboration with other providers, a range of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) options including Suboxone, Naltrexone, Campral, Sublocade, Vivitrol, Methadone, and Brixadi. While there are costs associated with the program, Allegheny County residents may be eligible for SDA funding assistance until their insurance is activated. Because CORE is adjacent to a school, individuals under Megan’s Law restrictions may not be eligible for admission, but the program has extensive experience working with clients involved in the criminal justice system.
