They provide affordable housing choices in Carbon County for low-income families, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities. They give priority to Carbon County residents. They have a variety of programs through various vouchers. To apply, you should pick up an application at CCHA’s main office (215 S Third St, Lehighton, PA 18235). They have waiting lists for most buildings (as of October 2025), call or email them with questions or to schedule an application pick-up.

Housing Choice Voucher Program: allows eligible participants who receive vouchers to search for their own privately owned housing. Mainstream Voucher Program: same as the previous but for non-elderly individuals with disabilities. Project Based Vouchers: for elderly apartments located in Weatherly. Public Housing: decent and safe rental housing for eligible individuals or families. Multifamily housing for vulnerable populations: provides housing linked on-site and/or community-based supports.
