The National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics – Volunteers in Medicine Program
Free or charitable clinics and pharmacies for those who are uninsured or underinsured and in need of free or low-cost healthcare. Eligibility varies by clinic but generally includes individuals who are: uninsured or underinsured and have limited access to primary, speciality, or prescription healthcare. Patients are typically within 100% to 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. Some locations may have location-based restrictions. Clinics may offer medical or dental care and may service children as well as adults. Clinics without free services offer services on a sliding scale based on income (no one is turned away for an inability to pay).
