
NAMI – Lehigh County
NAMI provides comprehensive, peer-led emotional support and education programs, free support groups tailored to diverse needs, extensive community resource referrals, and active advocacy initiatives. All programs and services are rooted in lived experience and volunteer mentorship, none of these services are professional and should not replace professional needs. Any state resident can access services for free.
Peer-to-Peer:
A free, 10-week educational program for adults with mental health conditions who want to establish and maintain their wellness and recovery. This course is taught by a team of trained leaders who are also in recovery.
Family-to-Family:
A free, 8-session educational program for family, significant others, and friends of people with mental health conditions. This course is designed to help families understand and support their loved one while maintaining their own well-being.
Basics:
A free education program for parents and other caregivers of children and adolescents living with mental illnesses. The course consists of 6 classes, each lasting 2.5 hours. Classes may be offered weekly for six consecutive weeks or may be offered twice per three weeks.
NAMI Homefront:
A free, 6-session educational program for families, caregivers, and friends of military service members and veterans with mental health conditions.
