York Psychiatric offers mandated mental health treatment and drug and alcohol treatment. They also offer teletherapy services, mental health therapy groups that offer tools for anger management, forensic groups that coordinate with probation and parole departments, multiple weekly drug and alcohol groups, and an IOP group starting in the fall of 2025. Three bilingual Spanish providers are on site, including York County’s only psychologist who accepts Medicare. This location accepts most insurances including UBH, and also has a case manager for drug and alcohol clients who are not eligible for medical assistance. Referrals are mostly internal and conducted with prisons to set clients up upon their release. To refer a client, call the PA Counseling patient registration line at 855-272-1653.
