Pinebrook Family Answers – Adult Reentry Services
Pinebrook Family Answers offers treatment programming to individuals incarcerated in Lehigh, Northampton and Carbon Counties. The goal is to improve child outcomes, enhance family relationships, promote employment opportunities, and connect individuals and families affected by incarceration with needed supportive services, with an objective of increasing the safety and economic well-being of reentering individuals, their families, and the communities to which they return. The Leaving Jail Program is funded by a Federal Second Chance Act grant. This innovative reentry program is designed to address the unique needs of incarcerated women, through trauma-informed, gender-responsive, and culturally competent programming. Leaving Jail bridges the gap between pre- and post-release services to foster successful reentry back into the community and reduce recidivism. Services vary by location but include: Seeking Safety addresses the effects of trauma and substance abuse, risk/needs assessment, thinking for a change, parenting inside-out, moral recognition therapy, anger management, and theft remediation services.
