Anne Bates

Anne Bates has worked as an Assistant Public Defender with the Dauphin County Public Defender’s Office since November 2023. Anne joined the office as a law clerk in August 2023. She handles cases in both the juvenile and adult systems. 

Anne graduated from Widener Commonwealth Law School in May 2023. Throughout her tenure at law school, she participated in multiple mock trials through Widener’s Trial Advocacy Honors Program. She also interned with the Central Pennsylvania Civil Law Clinic and volunteered with Widener Commonwealth Law School’s VITA chapter.

When she’s not at work, Anne enjoys baking, volunteering, and exploring Central Pennsylvania.
