These materials do not contain every case on every crime and attorneys are advised to refer to their crimes code for the text of each crime and to the sentencing guidelines for the offense gravity score and prior record score points for each offense. The cases included are those that the editor deemed would be broadly useful. Seminal cases appear in bold.

COMMON ABBREVIATIONS:

Com. = Commonwealth/prosecution

DA = District Attorney/prosecution

Def. = Defendant

C/w = complaining witness/complainant/victim
