Gabby Sanchez

My name is Gabriela Sanchez but I go by Gabby. I work in the Montgomery County Public Defender’s office. I have been with the office for over a year now. I am in the trial unit at the office but I handle prelims on a weekly basis. Before the public defender’s office, I clerk for a Judge in Camden Superior court in NJ who handled drug court. I discovered my passion for defense work in undergrad when I intern at the US Attorney’s office. During that time, I learned that I could not do prosecution work because of the lack of understanding for those involved in the system. Since then, I been trying to do defense work. I really enjoy working in this field and helping those who have less means and are struggling with addiction or mental health. I am looking forward to learning from this program so that I can provide the best representation for my clients.
