Dunn, Taylor

I am Taylor Dunn, the Chief of the Pretrial Division at the Delaware County Office of the Public Defender. I have been a Public Defender for 12 years. I went to law school with the specific goal of becoming a Delaware County Public Defender. During the last 5 years, my role within the office has involved the training and mentoring of new lawyers as they litigate cases throughout Delaware County in the District Courts and generally running the day-to-day operations of the Pretrial Division. Prior to my role in management, I was a trial room lawyer for 6 years litigating cases from DUIs to homicides with a focus on SVU cases.

When not fighting for my clients and my lawyers, I am an unabashed nerd – with a weekly Dungeons and Dragons game that I have played with the same group since high school. I am super excited about this program and the statewide community we can build around public defense.
