Defending Sex Offenses – Bring Your Own Case

This is a theory of defense based training focusing specifically on defending sex offense cases. Each participant must bring their own sex offense case to workshop throughout the training. Participants will learn skills and practice: Brainstorming Narrative and Theory of Defense, Voir Dire, Opening Statements, Cross Examination, Direct Examination, and Closing Arguments. We will also be offering programming regarding Public Defender wellness, and tools to sustain ourselves in the work.
